Dr. Hakmei completed his internal medicine training at Chicago’s Cook County Hospital and his Nephrology training at the Medical University of South Carolina. After completing his medical training in 2016, he spent over 6 years at the Dialysis Access Institute (DAI) in Orangeburg, S.C., where he provided interventional care for ESRD patients and trained physicians from around the world.
Dr. Hakmei joined Preferred Vascular Group in 2024 and practices across all eight PVG locations in greater Atlanta and Northeast Ohio.
