Our Treatments
Minimally invasive vascular procedures for better outcomes
At Preferred Vascular Group, we believe patients deserve effective treatment options that minimize pain, recovery time, and disruption to daily life. Our board-certified vascular specialists perform a comprehensive range of minimally invasive procedures -- most on an outpatient basis with no general anesthesia, no hospital stay, and same-day return home.
Vein Treatments
We offer the full spectrum of modern vein care, including radiofrequency ablation, endovenous laser treatment, sclerotherapy, and ambulatory phlebectomy. These office-based procedures close or remove diseased veins, relieving the pain, swelling, and cosmetic concerns of varicose veins and spider veins with minimal downtime.
Arterial Treatments
For patients with peripheral arterial disease, renal artery disease, and other arterial blockages, we perform angioplasty with stenting, atherectomy, and arterioplasty to restore blood flow and prevent serious complications. These catheter-based procedures are performed through a small skin puncture with rapid recovery.
Embolization Procedures
Our interventional specialists perform uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) and pelvic vein embolization to treat fibroids and pelvic congestion syndrome without major surgery. These procedures block blood flow to targeted areas, shrinking fibroids and relieving chronic pain while preserving the uterus.
Dialysis Access & Other Procedures
We provide comprehensive dialysis access services including fistula creation, graft placement, catheter management, and access maintenance. Additional services include IVC filter placement and removal, thrombectomy, mediport care, and advanced diagnostic procedures like angiography and venography.
All Treatments & Procedures
Angioplasty & Stenting
A minimally invasive procedure to open narrowed or blocked arteries using a balloon catheter and often a stent.
Atherectomy
A minimally invasive procedure to remove plaque build-up from blood vessels, commonly used to treat peripheral arterial disease.
Minimally Invasive Vein Ablation
A minimally invasive procedure to treat varicose veins by heating and cauterizing the affected vein.
Sclerotherapy
A treatment for varicose and spider veins where a solution is injected to seal off and close down the affected vein.
IVC Filter Placement & Removal
A small device placed in the inferior vena cava to prevent blood clots from reaching the heart or lungs.
Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
A minimally invasive procedure used to treat uterine fibroids by blocking the blood supply that allows them to grow.
Pelvic Vein Embolization
The most common and effective method of treatment for pelvic congestion syndrome.
Dialysis Access Options
Surgical creation of vascular access for hemodialysis, including fistula, graft, and catheter placement.
Dialysis Access Management
Ongoing care and maintenance of dialysis access sites to ensure proper function for hemodialysis patients.
Learn More →Mediport Care & Management
Placement and management of implantable port devices used for long-term medication delivery.
Ambulatory Phlebectomy
A minimally invasive surgical technique used to treat varicose veins that are not caused by saphenous vein reflux.
Angiography
The most common procedure used to diagnose and treat heart and vascular conditions, considered the gold standard for evaluating arterial blockages.
Arterioplasty
A minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of arterial diseases such as renal artery disease and peripheral arterial disease.
Thrombectomy
A minimally invasive surgery to remove a blood clot from inside an artery or vein.
Learn More →Ultrasound Vein Mapping
A non-invasive diagnostic procedure that uses sound wave technology to view and map veins under the skin.
Venography
A diagnostic procedure that allows your doctor to see the condition of your veins and determine how healthy they are.
Learn More →Endovenous Laser Treatment
A quick, minimally invasive laser treatment for varicose veins that requires no hospitalization and no complicated surgery.
Radio Frequency Ablation
A minimally invasive outpatient procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to heat and seal varicose veins closed.
