John T. Perry, MD

Dr. Perry is a Board-Certified Surgeon and serves as both the Chief Medical Officer of Preferred Vascular Group and the Medical Director of the Northwest Atlanta location. He has practiced in the greater Atlanta area for nearly 30 years.

He earned a Magna Cum Laude degree from Furman University and graduated from the Medical College of Georgia. His training included an internship, residency, and vascular fellowship at the University of Mississippi.

Dr. Perry possesses extensive experience across vascular medicine and is particularly recognized for his expertise in surgical creation and ongoing management of vascular access for kidney dialysis patients. Since late 2018, he became the first surgeon in Georgia to perform two newly developed surgical procedures for percutaneous hemodialysis fistula creation, allowing patients to avoid major surgery and the associated recovery time.
